Associate
Cannella Snyder LLC is looking for an Associate to join our growing plaintiffs’ firm in downtown Decatur, GA. Our firm focuses on high-level, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and whistleblower cases. This a full-time, on-site position in the Decatur office with occasional travel, reporting to the firm’s partners.
Qualifications include excellent academic credentials and strong research and writing skills. The ideal candidate has had a federal clerkship and/or 2-5 years of experience, but exceptional applicants of any level of experience will be considered. The associate will receive training, mentoring, and experience to prepare them to handle high-stakes cases against some of the largest corporations in the country.

Skills and experience:

Tasks:

- Coordinate all aspects of case preparation, including discovery, research, drafting pleadings, and pre-trial motions.

- Maintain regular communication to keep clients informed of case progress.

- Draft legal documents, including complaints, briefs, motions, and memorandums of law, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal standards.

- Participate in continuing legal education, seminars, and professional association activities to enhance legal knowledge and expertise.
- Argue motions, take and defend depositions, and assist at trial.
- Participate in continuing legal education, seminars, and professional association activities to enhance legal knowledge and expertise.
