Devin Mashman

Attorney

Devin Mashman represents plaintiffs in product liability, whistleblower, and catastrophic personal injury cases. Prior to joining Cannella Snyder, Devin worked at a nationally recognized defense firm representing corporations and government entities in high exposure cases. Devin applies the same tenacity, quality, and diligence to his representation of Cannella Snyder’s clients. In 2024, he was recognized in the Georgia Rising Stars list.

Devin earned a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. In college, Devin served as president of Emory’s mock trial team, where he competed and won several “Best Attorney” awards at competition. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
 
In law school, Devin served as Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review and represented Georgia in the National Moot Court Competition, earning a semifinal finish. Throughout law school, Devin received significant nationwide recognition for his performance in moot court competitions. At graduation, he obtained membership in the National Order of Barristers, an honor reserved for the top ten advocacy students at the University of Georgia. Devin also served as a Legal Intern for Judge Jill Pryor on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
 
Devin worked with Georgia Law’s Wilbanks CEASE Clinic representing survivors of child sex abuse in both juvenile court and as plaintiffs in civil actions. In this capacity, Devin briefed, argued, and won the case of Harvey v. Merchan before the Supreme Court of Georgia, which established the constitutionality of Georgia’s Hidden Predator Act. He was the second law student to argue before the Supreme Court of Georgia under the Civil Practice Act.
 

In 2024, he was accepted into the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association’s LEAD program. He is also an active member in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division. In his spare time, Devin coaches an Atlanta high school mock trial team.

Devin is an Atlanta native, where he lives with his wife Camille and their dog Harvey.
