On May 2, Cannella Snyder had the pleasure of hosting a continuing legal education (CLE) event at Truist Park, bringing together members of the legal community for an afternoon of insight, discussion, and connection.
The program featured a dynamic presentation by Professor Judkin Browning, a distinguished historian and professor at Appalachian State University. His talk explored the surprising and thought-provoking parallels between historical battlefield strategy and modern litigation strategy, drawing on lessons from military history to illuminate how legal professionals can adapt and lead in high-stakes environments.
Held in the unique setting of Truist Park, the event offered a welcome opportunity to blend professional development with informal networking. Following the CLE program, attendees stayed to enjoy the Braves vs. Dodgers game — a highly anticipated matchup that, despite a disappointing loss for the Braves, capped off an otherwise engaging and memorable evening.
“We’re always looking for creative ways to bring our legal community together,” said Tedra Cannella. “This event was not only educational, but also a reminder of the value of in-person collaboration and continued learning.”
Cannella Snyder extends its sincere thanks to Professor Browning for his thoughtful presentation and to all who attended the event. We look forward to hosting future programs that challenge our thinking, strengthen our community, and support the professional growth of attorneys throughout the region.
